jybryce suspended for 2 weeks. After his return from his initial suspension, he immediately violated Rule #6 with unsolicited, and unwelcome, PM spam.
It is my hope that jybryce uses this 2 weeks to come to a complete understanding of the rules, posted in this AboutBAUT forum. Upon his return, his next infraction may well ban him for life.

William is suspended for two days. The crime is ATM in a mainstream area. He's basically endlessly promoting ideas extracted from a questionable 2001 paper, and not acknowledging newer information on the topic.

MarsRevealer has had his life ban lifted. After some discussion, the sense was that his implied threats were not specific enough to warrant the lifetime ban. He is welcomed back in hopes that he can find less edgy ways to express himself.

Mars Revealer suspended for 3 days for failure to answer direct and pertinent questions, despite at least 3 clearly marked moderator warnings, in this thread:
The 'faces' Of Mars!! It is my hope that Mars Revealer, in this 3 day time, realizes that BAUT is not a blog, but a community, and specifically one in which direct and pertinent questions must be answered when making an ATM or CT forum claim, and one in which it is generally a good idea to heed moderator warnings.

MattMarriot is taking 3 days off to come to a better understanding of the method of introducing discussion and evidence at the BAUT forum. He also hopefully comes to an appreciation of the concepts of "wasting our time", and civility and decorum. Finally, I hope he learns to begin to heed moderator warnings.

Delvo has posted many interesting things while being a member here, but has shown a tendency to occasional hot-headedness on non-astronomy topics.
