Wear Protection! was suspended for two days for foul language. For other users this new, there might just have been a warning, but his/her high volume of posts, and other more general complaints from the membership about behavior have resulted in a suspension.
Post edit: This suspension has been converted to permanent ban for sock puppetry.

Motor Daddy permanently banned for repeatedly hijacking threads to promote his own ATM ideas. He had previously been suspended twice for the same behavior.

JimJast suspended for a week for starting a Q&A thread to promote his ATM idea, despite being warned against ATM'ing in Q&A before.

leokor is out for a month, for posting ATM material (EU) in mainstream sections of the forum (especially Q&A) after a warning. Some of leokor's posts have been removed. If he/she returns, very little allowance will be given judging repeat offenses.

captain swoop and tommac have both been suspended for four days. They were bickering with each other. CS was using inappropriate rhetorical techniques to try and undermine tm and tm responded by making an obscene joke out of cs's handle.
Neither activity is supportive of good discussions. It is especially important in the ATM and CT sections to be aware that adversarial relationships should not be made personal.

publiusr has been suspended for a day. For whatever reason, he/she was in a mood to do a lot of thread bumping with little added meaning to the thread. This suspension is not so much a punishment, as an attempt to prevent further thread bumping while publiusr gets into a different frame of mind.

tommac came back as sockpuppet newbietuesday, and both have been banned for life.
There are some ATM supporters on other sites who wear it as a badge of honor that they have been banned on more mainstream forums. tommac has earned that badge here very cheaply; not by confounding anyone to the point of anger with his thought out ATM view (he's bright, and was appreciated here), but simply by breaking one of our unforgivable rules. I am sad about this one.

777 geek is out for two days, for a bit of politics, and some (implied) bad language. Personally, I don't think a middle schooler would have figured out what nightsoil suggests, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
While we're at it Daffy is out for a day for falling into 777 geek's trap and talking politics. (I deleted his post). The thread has been closed.

Delvo has been banned for life for insulting people... most recently for dissing a geeky tattoo. It is his long history of insults that finished him off, not the severity of this one.
Post edit: Other moderators have pointed out that seven months of good behavior are worth something, so Delvo's time off is reduced from forever to two weeks.

fearless has been banned for life as a sock-puppet of a previously banned member. Unfortunately there were many posts replying to him. I removed most posts by fearless, but left the replies.

undidly has been suspended for a day. This may be shortened, or lengthened after we assess the situation. For now he/she is suspended to prevent further damage while we sort some things out.
Post edit: After looking it over, ToSeek created a new thread in ATM for undidly's model, and we ended the suspension after a few hours, giving undidly a warning for his first offense.

RalOfTyr has been banned for life for abbreviated profanity. This is on top of a longish recent record of disregard for forum rules.
Reduced to two weeks following moderator discussion. - ToSeek
