Homo bibiens given the day off to take a few deep breaths and reflect on more appropriate ways he could express his disapproval. Let me be clear that hijacking multiple threads (even F&G threads) with an axe to grind is not one of those ways. As this appears to have been his first offense, one day will suffice. There will not be a repetition.

As to the event that appears to have triggered this tantrum (among others), we're looking into it, but it appears from an initial look to have been aggravated by a software problem: apparently a snowballing quirk of splitting threads that has so far resisted repair.

After moderator discussion, the suspension has been increased to 3 days, in addition to the ~5 hours already served. This member's reaction to a single post was simply too extreme to merit less stringent action.
