BAUT banned/suspended posters log
Right. Since the other attempts at starting such a thread all got derailed beyond recognition, and there's starting to be a real need to get this written down in one place, let's try this one last time.
Let's try to keep the chat to a minimum in this thread. To recap: projectorion and sock wayne_smith banned for repeated offenses. Zarkov for violating the "be nice" rule.

We don't remove members, since that's how we keep them banned. But we will remove all evidence of SPAM posts, since all they want is for people to see whatever it is they're advertising.

I think that's the best solution. We can provide the banned person's id, the reason for their banning, and a link to the thread where we dropped the hammer. We'll close the thread, so only moderators can post to it.

Ok, I've closed this thread and removed the chit-chat. I think I made it a sticky too, but if not can someone correct that please.
Also, while this is a closed topic, admins and mods will continue to post here when a ban has occurred.

I have just banned user "sleepycell" for 24 hours. He came on and was very rude. He wouldn't take ToSeek's suggestions to play nice.
