It's the cap that covers a tire valve stem.

Either that, or an alien spacecraft here to take over the world and enslave humanity.

I'm not sure which.

A thrown hubcap? (OBTW--if it is, I may have heard about this "hoax" somewhere before!)

How about a siren light flashing on top of a vehicle, with the camera rotated at 40 degrees or so from level, down to the left?

Oh, I think I got it!!! This is the rising casket of the God Emporor Dweedle, rising into the belly of the transcendental Zhentarian Guard mothership, thus reveling the beginning of the NEW AGE of NancyBartDaveGordIgianite Pleasure and the Illumiti! Now the TRUE ToE will be known:: BEER ANSWERS ALL!!!

ALL HAIL LORD DWEEDLE!!!

Well, actually, I think its a tire thrown into the air. We're looking at it at an oblique angle so you can't quite make out the wheel hole.

SO thou art BOWING to Lord Dweedle then ? Thou shalt open the Holy Beer and guzzle fitfully in tribute, or face his wraith!

(Heh, I orginally meant to say wrath, but typoed. Freudian slip?? )

A gazinta is strictly speaking that cardboard cylinder found inside of every roll of toilet paper. One of the most underused inventions of man. But in the world of bauterdash it is limited to any item that you can put your hand or foot into such as, (to avoid unnecessary flights of imagination,) a can, a glove, a shoe, a coffee cup, a cookie jar, a foot massager, a gazinta.

No,actually it's Ford

It's the bracket that's glued on to the windshield to hold the rearview mirror. When I took the pic I didn't notice I'd gotten that in it 'til it was developed (the pic's about 15-16 years old).I was sitting in the passenger seat of my Ford E-150 takin' pics while the wife drove.

I've shown that pic to I don't know how many people,pre- & post-Internet & no one has ever been able to figure it out.

I saw your post and knew what it was but by time I scrolled through you answered it. I have to check this site more frequently. Good one though. My beater car has that same view except there is a crack running past it.
