Default CTRL-V Game

Simple game. Just place cursor in quick reply window below. Press keys CTRL-V. This pastes the contents of your copy buffer into the window (on most systems).
Give a comment about your buffers content.

Here's mine:

Finally, your research paper should be 10-12 pages over one of your topics. It should contain a clear thesis statement, a discussion of the problem at hand, what is currently being done to solve the problem, and what should be done. This latter part is your own perspective, not necessarily that of your assigned country.

Mine's a list of names and phone numbers - players on my softball team - so I figured I'd just post this note and not actually post all their numbers!

EDIT: That should probably be "all our numbers," since my name was on the list, too...

I know that this has been mentioned before, but meh, it's a good example of both a beneficial mutation, and a mutation that is only beneficial based on environment.

If one of your parents has the genetic code to cause sickle-cell anaemia, even if they don't have the disease itself, you'll be immune to malaria. Should both your parents have it you'll probably die.

Naturally, this mutation is incredibly beneficial, if one of your parents has it, malaria is very deadly, and spreads quickly, if you're immune to it you'll be more likely to survive.

However, in areas where there isn't/wasn't any malaria, this was a mutation that was only harmful, it gave no benefit and could cause a deadly disease, as such people who had it didn't live any longer then other people, in fact, they died much faster, so this mutation all but vanished.
A small thing on sickle cell anaemia I was typing out for another forum, I copied it so that I could paste it into WP and edit it there (Accursed Spellbound not being updated!), I wrote it in response to the claim that there are no beneficial mutations in humans.
