Anglo-Saxon scholar Frederick Levi Attenborough had three sons. The eldest, Lord Richard Attenborough, is an Oscar-winning actor and director. The second, Sir David Attenborough, is a world-renowned naturalist and fellow of the Royal Society. The youngest, John Attenborough, is a car dealer.
