Scientists are still uncertain about the length of a Saturnian day.

And tomorrow [May 18] is my birthday.

OH! Indi.

Born in Salzburg on January 27, 1756, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was already writing music by the age of five, and at eleven he produced his first opera.

The Mayan underworld, Xibalba, has three rivers; one filled with scorpions, one filled with blood, and one filled with pus. It also has six houses; one filled with eternal darkness, one filled with bone-rattling cold, one filed with fire, one filled with razors, one filled with jaguars and one filled with vampire bats.

On the plus side, it also has a ball court.

...who also enjoyed creating "automatons."

BTW, he "introduced" his rollerskates at a ball -- while playing the violin. Poor Mr. Merlin lost control and crashed into a big mirror.

Very interesting fellow.

Mozart was an early "music pirate" of sorts--the Vatican had a piece of music they would allow to be performed from time to time, but after the orchestra was done, they collected it and kept it locked to keep anybody else from performing it. Mozart could memorize orchestral music from one hearing, so he attended a performance and wrote it all down afterward. Now--I can't remember where I read this or how valid the source was....

Mozart's sister, Nannerl, was also an accomplished musician. When children, she was part of the family trio which entertained nobility and royalty: Leopold (father), Nannerl and Wolfgang.
