It's gotten to the point where careful investigation is needed just to tell parody from reality. I think that means reality is broken.- Noclevername.

Lord Byron had two children: one, legitimate, became Ada Lovelace, of Difference Engine fame. The other, illegitimate, was conceived with Mary Shelley's stepsister at a time when she, Mary and her husband Percy were travelling together in Europe. The child was sent to a convent and died five years later (Mary's own two children would also die on this trip, and the boys' reactions to these deaths would somewhat sour her toward the Romantic project). It is very likely Byron also conceived a second illegitimate child via his half-sister.

The strongest living creature is the rhinoceros Beetle found in the jungles of Costa Rica, which can support up to 850 times it's own body weight, equivalent to a human carrying about 70 tons (tonnes).

Wow!

In the mid- to late 1960s Jack Nicholson worked in/with '60s "hippie counterculture" films. One is Psych-Out.

He also collaborated with "The Monkees" on a feature film (about them, of course).

The heaviest coffee drinkers in the world are not the Italians, but in fact the Scandinavian countries, who all have an average consumption of around 10kg/person/year.
Actually even Germany has a higher consumption than Italy.

The USA is far below with just 4.2kg.

One good outcome of the global food crisis: wheat is now more expensive then opium, which has led to a drop in poppy cultivation in Afghanistan.

Halle Berry is a type 1 diabetic ("juvenile" diabetes).

She also was born in the same Cleveland, OH, hospital wherein Dorothy Dandridge was born, and whom Ms. Berry would later portray in a feature film about Ms. Dandridge.

On their July 1981 wedding day, Lady Diana Spencer messed up during the vows. She called Prince Charles "Charles Arthur Philip George."

His name is "Charles Philip Arthur George."

Another fact: I arose at 4:00 a.m. that day to see the wedding live.

That would be Head.

The movie Head was advertised in NYC with posters that featured a head shot of John Brockman (sometimes with the word "HEAD") and nothing else.

The sun is continuously visible from late May to late July in Tromso because of it's position well north of the Arctic Circle.
