This thread is for the Astronomy | 365 APOD book and Ambient Space DVD giveaway contest I described on my blog. To register, just post (only once, please) in this thread! On Saturday April 21st at noon (Pacific) I'll pick a random post number, and that person wins the book, and the second random winner gets the DVD.
However, I can only ship the book inside the United States, so please state in your post if you are in the US or not. The DVD I will ship anywhere. Again, see the blog for details. Enjoy!

I would say something about picking me, but since you say you are going to pick a "random" number, and we all know that there can never truly be a "random" number (there is always an underlying unrandomness) I will just hope you pick the number that corresponds to me.
And yeah, living in the good old US of A for my whole life. |

I know this is really really tacky.....getting a log in just for a competition - but I have been reading the BABlog for ages now and just lurking. Of course I don't even get to have a chance at the book....living in the ar$e end of the world. Such is life. At least I might score the DVD. (Does this mean I get two chances as all the people in the US have two chances to win something and I only get one?)
Oh and for those who are wondering - I live in Sydney, Australia. |

This is coming from south central Pennsylvania, which has been spared the brunt of the current nor'easter. What a monster storm!
