Default Picture Trivia Game

Okay, the thread name pretty much explains the game. Someone attachs a picture to a post with a question, and then everyone tries to answer the question. A couple rules or guidelines to follow are:

1- Don't put a picture that no one can distinguish, thereby making the solution impossible

2- Don't make something up/Use something factual, (i.e. don't put a close-up picture of one of your zits and then say it's a mountain on Mars)

3- You may give hints, especially if no one can figure it out after awhile

4- When someone gets the correct answer try to acknowledge the correct answer has been given as soon as possible

5- Try to use something science related although it doesn't have to be

Okay I'll start it off...here goes...

Which astronaut is in this famous photo?

Okay, here's the next one. (Does a mighty feat of engineering count as 'science related'?)

What road is this? And where is it?

Oh gosh, I've seen that before. It's from Cassini, I think. So, within the orbit of Saturn and it's Saturn and a moon?

I think it's Neptune and Triton from Voyager II. "When" would have to be "in the early eighties" since I can't get any more specific without using a search engine.

It is indeed Neptune and Triton photographed by Voyager 2. Do you want another shot at the "when" part because it isn't quite correct? Though I could let that one ride since you were honest about not using search engines. It's up to you.

Nope. It was August 1989.

Since you got the names right, which I considered to be the main part of my question, you can have your turn.

What, exactly, is this? Bonus points if you know its name too.

Hint: it's an igneous formation.
