Well, I've finished deciphering Hammurabi's Code. But I feel honor-bound not to tell you how Lost turns out. Yes, the Island is alive. No, Jack is not a reincarnation of Sargon II. Other than that, my seals are lipped.

Follow in your books and repeat after me as we learn our next six words in Turkish.
Coffee. Delight. Towel. Border. May I see your passport, please?

That's ten words. Plus four periods, a comma, and a question mark. And spaces, lots of spaces (remember, the internet is made of spaces).

With all the above aphorisms, can't someone come up with a phorism? If an aphorism is a terse statement of a truth, I would imagine a phorism is perhaps a sesquipedalian statement of truth.
Phylogenetic note: Sesquipedalians were a small but insignificant genus of variant tetrapods, most abundant in the lower Myassic period. Sesquipedalians sarsparillis, the most common species, lived mainly on Smilax roots, hence the name. The defining characteristic of the genus, where each leg terminated in one and a half feet, eventually led to its extinction in the early Bigassic period when stair treads were shortened from 14 to nine inches, leading to a massive dieoff due to tripping and rolling down the stairs. The only surviving species, Sesquipedailians politicus, frequents Sunday morning news programs and election-night rallies, where it can be seen putting one and a half feet in its mouth at frequent intervals.

If phorim is the opposite of aphorism, is...
"derwear" the opposite of "underwear"? "baloney" the opposite of "abalone"? "mony" the opposite of "antimony"? (that does explain the Billy Idol song) "ept" the opposite of "inept"?
