I think you mean brother's wife's sister's father-in-law. Unless you can adopt people as siblings in Britain.

I'm writing all the really good stuff, then erasing it and substituting self conscious dribble. But I will know how good it could be if I let it be. I just choose not to.

Actually, I think Tobin was right. My brother's wife's sister's husband adopted a sister?

Anyway, at the time we worked together, neither my brother nor hers were married, so she was not my brother's wife's sister's husband's sister at the time.

The early years of the 4th Dynasty was characterized by the movement that would later be most commonly know as the "Tur'nak School". The influence of this would be widespread, not only in art, music, and literature, but in politics, economic theory, and even astral navigation.

The earliest signs of the movement were seen in the port city of Fral and across the entire coastal region. They are, of course, attributed to the work of the man known as "The Master of Fral" or "Master Tur'nak". Even today, his sono-sculptures are among the finest examples of this art form. But the master's direct influence did not extend beyond his own work in the structural arts.

It is from the work of his many students, and their followers, that the style and philosophy of the Tur'nak School spread so widely, across both intellectual and geographic space.

One of The Master's earliest students was Trem The Younger. Trem was the daughter of an affluent pratar merchant from the neighboring city of Neetomu. She grew up in the relaxed social circle of the Merchant and Intelligentsia classes of this vibrant city. Little did anyone imagine that this young woman twirling around the dance platforms would one day rock the social and economic structure of the Western Confed.

Default Banned for a day

Wasn't quite as much fun as I thought it would be.

Okay it was.

Kinda like when I got suspended for ditching school.

How annoying. I was all set to do a concise parody of the Encylopedia Galactica and Swift comes along. Anything I write will look like a pale imitation of thought, a derivative purloin, me-too copycatism, bandwagoning. And I had this great shtick where Hober Mallow walks up to Salvor Hardin and says, "I haven't had a Crisis in three days," so Hardin bites him.

Now all I can do is stare at my hands and note the blue toilet bowl disinfectant under my cuticles.

Replacement and Calibration of the Torsional Drive Unit
Page 6

Step 19 - Loosen all four (4) retaining screws on the upper surface of the Chromic Phase Compensator using the left-handed spanner included with your replacement kit.
Step 20 - Remove the upper cover of the Chromic Phase Compensator
Step 21 - In the near left corner is a small silver knob. This is the current adjustment for the Amplitude Modulation Regulator. Slowly turn the knob until the Modulation Voltage (see step 14) reaches a minimum (it should be under 1.473 mV).
Step 22 - Replace the upper cover of the Chromic Phase Compensator
Step 23 - Replace all four (4) retaining screws on the upper surface of the Chromic Phase Compensator using the left-handed spanner included with your replacement kit. Make sure you do not over-tighten the screws.
Step 24 - Re-insert the Depth Probe into the probe access port, as described in Step 7.
