Default BAUT Survivor! Vote Now! Lines Open!

Legal disclaimer: This is a GAME, no-one REALLY gets chucked off

Once a week, every Friday, one BAUT member will be 'voted off' this forum!

You have 3 tasks:

1. Suggest a candidate Member for this week's vote!

You have to hurry...only 5 Members will be judged each week!
If all 5 slots (A-B) are taken for the current week, your candidate, if accepted, will be slotted for following week's vote!

2. Give a reason, based only on your candidate's threads and/or posts!

No personal reasons please!

3. Vote! (Take the poll)

The Member with the highest number of votes on Friday, 1200hrs GMT, is metaphorically packing his bags!

First Week (Vote count on Oct 10th)

Two candidates, Members A and B, have already been chosen for the vote (see below).

You choose the remaining 3 (C, D and E).

Member A: rcglinsk

Reason: Starting a tread with the sole purpose of annoying each and every responder. http://www.bautforum.com/questions-a...questions.html

Member B: PraedSt (Me!)

Reason: This thread!

Remember:

1. Suggest a candidate Member for this week's vote!
2. Give a reason, based only on your candidate's threads and/or posts!
3. Vote! (Take the poll)

ENJOY

Why am I not on that list?
I suggest you correct that.

ETA: I had to get that question in before this thread is destroyed by a Mod.

mike alexander. He constantly makes inane comments and hardly ever seems to talk about astronomy anymore.

I have voted for C to be decided because he/she comes on and just makes no comments what-so-ever, I don't think that person likes me.

I wouldn't expect everyone to take your word for it, a picture would be helpful.

Oh nooo.....

No one laugh when I ask this question:

WHO KNOWS HOW TO EDIT A POLL?

I can't change any of the 'to be decided's. Rats.

Ok. A badly designed Survivor game. Lucky for me, the concept of Kaizen is quite respected in some circles.

A better way to do this would be to separate the tasks of selecting and polling:

An initial thread to take suggestions.
From these, select your 5 unfortunates.
Close the suggestions thread.
Finally, open a second thread for the actual poll.

Not going to do it though! I've recently had a thread closed by the mods; and although I think that in that particular case it was a very good decision, I don't want to push my luck!

Anyway, the purpose of this thread was a gentle dig at someone's posts, and I think that's been served.

So: Thanks, and CLOSED. From me, and unofficially of course.

you have to report your thread by pressing the red triangle and give a reason why etc!

Closed as requested.

BTW, once you've created the poll, I think takes a mod to edit it.
Again, use chrissy's advice and use the report triangle to ask nicely for an edit if it's something like a spelling mistake.
