Default Light travels backward and faster than light

A team of scientist say they have made light go backwards.....

it is just an illusion similar to Cerenkov Radiation.
But, very thought provoking.

cerenkov radiation theory asserts two seperate values for speed of radiation and speed of particle. backward light- similar anomaly?
