Default Electron filmed for first time

I'm having a hard time trying to understand exactly what I'm looking at in the video, and the article itself is kinda flimsy in describing the image in the video. Perhaps someone here can shed some light on the subject. The article also doesn't mention of the implications of this "filming" and quantum superposition.
