Default Spanish drought reveals ancient church

Apparently, the church was never completely covered, and the dam was built in the sixties. I wonder what the big deal is, to those crowds.

We were down to thirty days of water just a few months ago. I wondered what would happen if we depleted that.

National Geographic: before and after

Gigapan image (large hi-res pan image of reservoir, including church, with viewing tool)

Google Map (Imaged in the wet days. I couldn't spot the steeple though.)
