Not real computer savvy so I need to ask someone here who might be.
I have Windows XP OS. For a while now, I can spin the scrolling wheel on my mouse with the cursor on a downloaded image and spin through other images I have seen before on my computer screen. So what is contaminated and what do I do about it? |

i think you can also change your mouse settings in the control panel or in the folder options so it doesn't do that.

Hard to tell without examples, but.. The webserver tells the webbrowswer what kind of data it is sending, with certain codes. It sometimes happens that it sends the wrong kind of codes along with a .jpg or .gif or whatever images, causing the browser (if it is configured that way) to think that it has to save the image instead of just displaying it, ie it might treat an image as if it is some random datafile. This might lead to some images getting stored at the default download location, and making them show up again when you click on a picturelink when the above is happening (and you use the scroll wheel).
So, if that is what you're experiencing, it's an issue to do with server and possibly browser configurations.
