Sometimes I don't understand all the fuss about western-style civilization.
I am aware of the flaws, but I haven't seen any working alternative, yet.

And forget about that hunters-and-gatherers-paradise myth
I really prefer eating Doritos to hunting mammoths

There's a prevailing belief that the civilization of Europe and the Americas are different in more than just detail from the civilizations of other parts of the world. I don't buy into the notion, myself. Lots of variation among any large group of individuals.

Yes. but until recently, we had the most broadcast towers and satellites. Now with Bollywood and anime and other culture offerings, it is going to be interesting.
