Thank you for your post about Wernher von Braun in Antarctica. At long last -- a reference. I had searched for evidence that he went there and never found it, only lots of hearsay.
Do you have a copy of the entire October 1968 National Geographic article, and if so, would it be possible to get a photocopy from you? If so please let me know how I could pay you, or I could email typescripts of newspaper articles from the first six months of the space race (1957-58) and lots for Apollo 11, including from the "West Australian."
My nearest (Palmerston North) Red Cross annual book sale is a great source for old NGs, but I've been an invalid for 20 years and haven't been able to get to the last three.
