Why not create a permanet IRC Channel for BAUT?
Shouln't be to hard to maintain right?

I suggested the same thing, but Wolverine said that their were about 10 people who came regularly, but over time they all got board of the same people and ran out of things to talk about. I guess the same thing would happen again.
If we had enough people who would say they would support it, we can talk Wolverine into something similar.

This sounds good.
BTW I had no idea this site was so big. Has there ever been a thread about whos better..star wars or star trek? Ive always had a fondness for star trek.. but star wars just leaves me FLAT. I nearly fell asleep in the theater when the second star wars was out. I left the last one ****ed. It was god awful.

Not really, it's to do with the intended level of discourse, and the idea that no matter how many *'s are put in a word, the though is the same.
It's always possible to say what you want without resorting to swearing.

Since the chatroom hasn't been opened on a regular basis for some time now, it's probably best to un-sticky this. Not that the channel will be discontinued or anything -- I'll just bump the thread as necessary from here on out to announce any special events.

Are the paltalk chats open to anyone? I used to have PalTalk loaded on my machine but had some problems with it. I may load it up and try it out again if there is another chat.

Well, there is the issue of use. I would think that something like MSN would have more popularity then paltalk?
I just think it would be better to have something that you just simply log onto that doesn't require a single person to maintain and depend on. A place where other discussions can be carried out, politics, religion, along with general astronomy, exc...

Actually it sounds like you're describing IRC Dragon Star. #BAUT@irc.rizon.net Then. Actually I think someone else started one, but it had no one in it when I last checked, and that was over a year ago.
