I simply did not know what I was missing in life until my computer crashed completely last Sunday night (November 28) and made me aware of my loss. I had to look up all of the disks and the magic letters and numbers to permit my downloading them. This is the first site which I have visited since then. I was attempting to install a firewall and it did not like my computer and got revenge. It had come upon a real dumbbell (me) and really put me through the proverbial ringer.

Oh, well, I learned a lot about my computer, particularly those things which I should avoid trying. Actually, I have a lean and mean machine and I intend to keep it that way (by avoiding filling it up with unimportant things). Oh, well, for the rest of you: Remember to keep all of your computer disks for reinstalling everything or you will be very, very sorry.

The good part about it all was that our late November Michigan weather kept me from viewing anything through the clouds, so my computer crashed at the right time. I did learn a lot about reinstalling my computer essentials.

Whew. That's over!
