Default That Thing You Smell Is The Burger

Hardee's, Carl's Jr. Cash in with Backlash Burgers

Quote:
While many of its competitors have downplayed traditional burgers in the last two years while scrambling to add lower-fat salads and grilled chicken offerings to their menus, CKE Restaurants Inc. has taken a different approach.

Carl's Jr. on Wednesday introduced the Breakfast Burger, a hamburger topped with a fried egg, hash browns, bacon and cheese, that weighs in at 830 calories and 46 grams of fat.

Hardee's, meanwhile, last month added the Monster Thickburger to its menu. With two one-third-pound beef patties, four strips of bacon, and three slices of cheese, the burger has 1,417 calories and a whopping 107 grams of fat.

McDonald's Corp.'s Big Mac, with 560 calories and 30 grams of fat, doesn't even come close.
I would expect these businesses to be immediately installing skid-proof flooring as a safety measure.

I read about this a couple weeks back. It almost gave me a heart attack just hearing about it. Best if I don't examine these products again.

I hope they start keeping portable defibrillators in the kitchen area at fast-food restaurants.

"Clear!!" KA-CHUNG!!!!

Reminds me of my take on the recent Applebee's commercial, sung to the tune of "Bread and Butter" by the Newbeats (wow, that song's almost 40 years old now!)

However, we aren't the fattest country anymore. Not that runner up in this race is good either...

Gotta give credit where it's due though. . . Hardee's/carl's Jr. have always made what I consider the best tasting bacon double cheeseburger on the market. Haven't had one it years. . . Think I'll try to hunt one down today! 8)

No problem, he's obviously picking his 1,417 calorie, 107 grams of fat booger.

No, it wasn't.

I am appalled and ashamed with that "honour". I had absolutely no idea...

I still don't get it though - I see lots of footage of Americans with 6 lane backsides and "front - bums" and I just don't see it when I'm walking down the street?

Lets not forget that in woman's clothing an American size 6 is equivalent to around an Australian size 12. Or something like that.
