LOL! I won...I finished with 26 cards...now to see if I can get them all. Have to say the McLaren F1 is a beauty. I have a number of scale models (1:19) staring at me, a couple of 917K's (one being the Steve McQueen car from "LeMans"), a few of the "Bond" cars and my personal favourite a Jim Clark Lotus 49 . If I can't have the real things, these will have to do.

Default Re: Engine cards

I would interchange the "Sex Appeal" ratings for the Concorde and the Saturn V. However, as a former Ducati owner, its rating seems about right.

Some strategy tips.

The Antonov AN-225 has the most wheels (32) so that's the trump to play. The Boeing 777 has the second most (14) and Concorde is number 3 (10) so those two are good bets for playing wheels, especially if you know you have the AN-225.

The Saturn V is the fastest, the most powerful and has the largest engine size so any of those will guarantee you a win. Concorde is next followed by the AN-225 in terms of engine size and power. Concorde is also next in speed.

The Jahre Viking is the heaviest one with the Titanic second.

Got 28 cards. Was stuck with a card that couldn't beat the computer's card in any category.

Correction. It is the Shenzhen that is the second heaviest. Titanic is the third. Also Concorde is the third most wheeled. It is one of the trains. Trains are good bets for wheels in general.

Hmm... maybe that's why I got a "page not found" when trying the link.

Actually, I've been reading a lot of the old posts myself and almost responded to a bunch of them before I realized I was reading posts from 2004

I've done it before too

And sorry if that last response sounded negative... reading over it now, it does have kind of a negative tone...
It was meant purely as a neutral note, which also explains the dead link.

Looks like an interesting topic though - pity I missed it the first time around...
