Default Too young...

A buddy of mine, well best bud actually, who went to florida to seek gainful employment called today. He is flying up this weekend.
A friend of ours, a young lady, died the other day. Drug OD. *sigh*
She was 22 or 23. A grade behind us.
Such a waste.
Thanks for listenin'.

That is sad, particularly because it was an overdose. Good luck Travis.

I'll be 22 this fall . . . yeah, that's definitely too young. I'm sorry, man.

My co-worker went to a funeral today for a 35 year old guy who OD'ed. His mother found him and he left two young kids behind. It's hard to deal with since it seems preventable, like suicide; people left behind always feel they could have done more to help the person, but usually they couldn't have. I think any age is too young for that--life is short enough.

I feel for you. It's a kick in the gut, for sure.
