Default ATTN: UK folk, stupid question re: Maynards sweets

So it's been two months since my wife and I returned from our trip to the UK. While there, I had my first opportunity to try Maynards Sports Mixture gums. So now I have a silly question regarding Maynards brand sweets. Which syllable in "maynards" is accented and how is it pronounced? MAY'nerds' or ma'NARDS' or what?

I know it's a stupid question, but I was wondering because I woke up this morning with the biggest craving for Maynards Sports Mixture, so I headed to the London Market (import shop) here in Salt Lake City. They didn't have the Sports Mixture, so I got the Wine Gums instead (they were really good, but I still like the Sports Mixture better.) And then I thought to myself, "I wonder if I am even pronouncing 'Maynards' correctly."

thanks

Simple solution:

G. Krebs

Eat too much of that stuff and you'll look like the "Dough Boy" or is that "Dobie"?

IC, it looks like a mix of either of my guesses (and I assume the major accent is on the first syllable.)

Thanks

I wouldn't say that either syllable gets any emphasis.

Maynards

Sadly now part of the giant Cadbury-Schweppes PLC. I've always pronounced it as you see it written with equal empahasis on both sylables. Of course, it's a bit difficult if you have your mouth full at the time

No Emphasis as far as I know. Don't like Maynards stuff myself.
