It's $.94/litre CDN here in Vancouver. That works out to be $2.55 USD/gallon.

Guys ... we've reached peak oil. That means that the price of fuel will continue to go up from now on.

It's really time to trade in your SUV for an economy car. Maybe buy a bike, and learn how to ride a horse.

The price here is now the highest it's ever been.

I'm not sure that's true. From what I understand, Opec is pumping more now than they ever did. It seems to caused by US dollar levels, Middle East instability, and rising demad due to recovering economies.

If this goes on for a few more years, though, I think it'll be safe to assume Peak Oil has arrived.

I was upset when I saw that milk was 3.99 a gallon. That is robbery! Remember a few years ago, the dairy industry was slaughtering the milk cows because milk prices were too low. A good T-bone is 7.00 lb. Crazy prices. But...my electric bill was only 88.00 this month. That is LOW!

The absloute lowest I've seen is $1.69. Last night I saw a place that had $1.89. Of course, that's regular unleaded.

No offence, but it always makes me laugh when I hear Americans complaining about the price of fuel. You guys have some of the lowest gas / petrol prices in the world.

Here, unleaded fuel is about 80p per litre. There are 3.79 litres in a gallon... so that's £3.03 for a gallon.

At the current exchange rate, £1 is worth $1.78. So here in England, we pay $5.41 for a gallon.

Taking an average of the prices you guys have listed in the US, ($1.98), we currently pay nearly THREE TIMES more for our petrol than you guys do.

Granted, exchange rates are high at the moment... I usually give the average exchange rate as being about $1.50 to the £1. Even in that case, we're paying $4.55 per gallon, or over two and a quarter times you price you do.

Tell me again how expensive gas is in America!
