A federally funded two man team with an infinite travel budget, allowed to produce no believable results week after week? I'd bet against it.

Who knows really? Who knows what secret organisations exist.

As this doesn't have that much to fo with life in space and is more a conspiracy theory, I'll more this to toally off topic.

They wouldn't be a very good secret organisation if people could just post things on universe today about them. And if there is one they're doing a good job 'cause it doesn't look like anyone knows anything about them or the aliens they're covering up.

Perhaps thats the effect they are going for. If everyone knows about it and thinks its just sci-fi no one will really think it exists. Ah the beuty of circular logic.
