Exclamation Geometry Help Please!

We're learning how to write proofs currently, and I've come accross a problem that has me stumped:

1. Explain how the Reflexive Property of Congruence and the Supplement Theorem can be used to prove that two angles supplementary to the same angle are congruent.

HELP ME BAUT! YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE!

errr... angles b & c are both supplementary to angle a right?

So state the supplement theorem (whatever that is) twice, once each for b and c...

Post that here so we can see that you're doing the work! No free rides on BAUT.

yes angles B and C are supplementary to A

Supplement Theorem: Supplements of Congruent angles are congruent

The problem is I can't figure out what the Reflexive property of Congruence is

Here are the theorems in the chapter:

4 - 2:
If the angles in a linear pair are congruent, then each of them is a right angle

4 - 3:
If two angles are complementary, then both are acute

4 - 4:
Any two right angles are congruent

4 -5:
If two right angles are both congruent and supplementary, then each is a right angle

OK, I don't think I'm giving away too much here. In this case, reflexive properties describe how angles and line segments relate to themselves.

Should you need more direction than that, Google is your friend!

If it makes it any clearer, you could give A an additional name, say Z.

Now B is supplementary to A and C is supplementary to Z....
