Taks, let me know if you want to go skiing some time. Loveland and Wolf Creek are two of my favorites.

Wink

Woohoo ski season, as opposed to WooWoo ski season.
I guess WooWoo ski season would claim that snow or the lack of it is caused by the Govment or the New World order. Plus, there is no such things as ski resorts because you never see stars in any of the pictures. And even this snow stuff is impossible - I mean pu-lease, how could ever snow flake be different, has anyone checked?

sure thing. my buddy from KS is coming in tomorrow. he's considering bringing skis for a-basin friday. i have the breck pass (unlimited breck, keystone, a-basin and 10 visits to vail/beaver creek) so i'll be doing those first. we also do a yearly trip for a week, and this year it's breck. of course, the fact that i live 117 miles from peak 9 at breck doesn't hurt! wolf creek for thanksgiving. and i have every other friday off (9/80 schedule) so i'll be skiiiiiiiiiiing often.

*curses life*
Man, what on Earth was I thinking when I willingly went to school in Ohio?!? I have to wait until winter break to do anything.
In my family we traditionally go somewhere skiing out West over winter break, but to annoy us all my dad keeps the actual location a "surprise" until a few days before we go. (Last year was Telluride, which was really great.) We're starting to run out of new places out west partly because my mom's unwilling to go towards Montana/ Idaho, but luckily there are always good places to revisit!

Wow, you have a lot more "drive" (and perhaps more money too) than I have. I usually like to wait until January or so before I do any skiing since I'm very picky about snow conditions. However, this January promises to be a bit more exciting than normal, so I may have to plan my skiing for December or sooner. Keep me posted on your plans and maybe I'll be able to join you a couple of times.
