woohoo!!!

i officially kick off the 2005/2006 ski season this morning around 9/10 am, MST. i'm doing copper mountain, which opened friday morning with 20 inches mid way, and got blasted with 9 inches of fresh snow over night, not counting what came down during the day today...

i.can.not.wait. arrrgggggh.

anyhoo, any of you folks in colorado that are interested in doing a BA ski-trip, let me know. i have a pass for breckenridge (opens next friday), so i'll be biased to that particular slope. however, i just like to ski, and any slope is a good slope, IMO. i'll be heading up to ski somewhere, anywhere, probably at least every other friday plus several weekend trips and thanksgiving (cabin in wolf creek) and xmas...

oh my, i'm an addict. anyway, cheers all. wish me fluffy stuff.

Whistler opens next week.

Killington, VT opened on October 28th after receiving ~3 feet of snow. They will probably shut down for a few days during the week while snowmaking does its thing. I skied there many times in October. It's beautiful with the snow above and the fall foliage below.
