Default cansouth - hacked satellites update

Remember cansouth and his "hacked satellites" paranoia? His thread on BAUT was locked, but if you do a google search, you'll see that he has posted the same ramblings on at least a hundred other forums.

Here is his BAUT thread:
Hacked satellites - do you see the results ?

Anyway, somebody (not me) put up a parody website. It's pretty funny, check it out.

Yah, but it's out of date. Don't forget FTP has been pretty much replaced by HTML (Hacked Transmission Masking Language)

Good thing I wasn't consuming a beverage. James, the test subject for the cranial protection device, doesn't seem happy with the test.

Cansouth did have his own webpage, right? I can't find the link to the original...

I like the parody site though!

ON an *interesting* sidenote, can anybody explain to me how an (earth based ) brain scanner works? Or the different types of brain scanners, if there are more than one. What kind of signals do they use, and how do they form images? Do they use itnerferometry (or what's it called in English?) to measure differences and increase resolution, like radar from satellites is used to see the effects of an earthquake by comparing before and after radar returns, and looking at the pattern formed by the differences (10 mm ground displacement can be seen this way, though the planar resolution is the same as for single images; 10 mm is the smallest difference that can be seen)?

I'm not tryingto make the CT work, I'm just interested in the priciples behind brain scans.

That's pretty humourous...and I thought I had too much time on my hands!

Tofu, where did you find that, while searching for the other stuff?

Yeah, I was picturing the wounds I would've had if I'd tried giving D a cranial protection device.

I wonder how they managed to convince the cat to carry one of those, mine would have objected rather vigorously........

No need to bother with a beanie for man or beasts...simply cover the entire house.

Contrary to appearances, this one isn't wrapped too tight...

Funny, neither the Cranial Protection Device nor the photographic medium prevent me from reading James' thoughts in this picture.

Maybe that's why aluminum siding became popular in the 1950s and 60s. As Russia and the US launched all of those mind control satellites, people used the metal siding to protect themselves.
