Google images yields several pictures of Kornak Sun temple. Use "kornak" as keyword for a search.

It's beautiful, and amazing, but I wouldn't consider the 13th century as "very old".

you are correct lianachan, i was just searching any scientific stories behind konark sun temple, actually it is a chariot monument which carved in single stone, and "cone" and "arcs" gives the name konark. many time it is learnt from peoples that when any ship goes near by the beach, where the temple is situated, the navigation system get disturbs due to the stone "granite" fixed in the top of the temple.

Which navigation system are we talking about? GPS? Radar? Compass? (Gyro or magnetic?) Why would a stone disturb the navigation systems of ships miles away?
