I remember watching the first series of this on TV here. Thats series focussed on life this one seems to be about death. Though a little gruesome it was fascinating to watch.

randb...this is a "family friendly" board, so it's probably not appropriate to post this kind of thing here...

Unfortunately, I know too well what the inside of a human body looks like.
Compared to my memories/nightmares; these videos are tame.

Actually, it is I who was wrong...the warning is sufficient...

Could you "un-delete" the link?

My apologies...

Oh, just please repost the link.

If this thread catches my eye and I want to follow through on it now, on the weekend, I don't want to have to potentially wait hours or days for you to PM me back.

Apologies were given and it was realized that you shouldn't have removed the link in the first place. Please just restore the situation as it was. If you don't, then this thread is just a "tease" and I resent that.

Video is un-moving in our house - between search and rescue training and paramedic training, we watch all kinds of nasty things at dinner time. Surgery is a lot less messy than on-scene accident video...In fact, I'm reveiwing a first responder video right now...

Depends on the circumstances.
I remember being shown a instruction film on dealing with battle wounds after an exhausting field exercise on a cold and wet day.
I had seen the exact same footage during basic, but this time I got physically sick.

I havent watched these new ones but i saw all of the ones when they were on Channel 4 tv. IIRC they were on consecutive nights over the course of almost a week. Our entire house was glued to the telly. It was 'gruesome' at first in the sence that it had a slightly morbid feel to it but once that was out of the way it seemed almost like any documentary. It didnt seem really 'gross' or anything mainly because it was done in a surgical and controlled manner. What emergency services see each day would really make difficult viewing.
