The xhtml-isation of my website continues. Part of this is to get away from the old habit of using tables for layout and move to css instead.
Here is the old version using tables for layout. Here is the new version using css for layout. Which version looks better?

Okay, new approach. I've uploaded screenshots of the two versions as they look on my offline version and how they'll look when I move servers.

I prefer the updated one, I don't like the look of the tables borders as much.

All right, I'll try this again. I actually did get a look at the new one earlier (and it loaded properly for me at first).
I like the top part of the new one better (though I would suggest padding the text a bit so it doesn't run right up to the border). However, I prefer the table in the old one for the bottom half, solely because the spacing around each section is consistent. |
