Default San Francisco KRON loses my respect

Sigh. Management at San Francisco broadcaster KRON is taking the numerological advice of a psychic astrologer.

sfweekly.com: But Can He Predict the Weather?

Quote:
If you think there's something different about the address above the entrance of KRON television headquarters, the fortresslike building at 1001 Van Ness Avenue, you're right. The number 552 has been added.

The reason?

A station exec's astrologer advised that 1001 was a bad number for business.
[...]
"Obviously, there are skeptics who think it's a bunch of hooey, but I can tell you things seem to have improved since the change," says KRON Programming Director Pat Patton, who says he brought in the psychic with the approval of station management.
[...]
One person who doesn't mind being quoted, however, is recently departed former news producer Kevin McCormick. "It encapsulates the absurdity of the place that a numerologist could influence a decision to alter the street address of a television station," he says.

Has a numerologist, exorcist, feng shu person, or anything like that ever said, "Nope, your house is fine. You don't need to do anything." It seems someone, somewhere would have a house that is already up to par, but everyone always talks about how much it helped. I have never heard of someone not having a problem. Has anyone else?

Well. . .at least it appears that San Franciscans are capable of living up to some of their stereotypes. . .

San Francisco is definitely an appropriate place to talk about improving vibrations. Especially those measured by a seismograph.

Top two favorite songs of San Franciscans?

1. Good Vibrations
2. Shake, Rattle, and Roll

Favorite album?

1. SynKRONicity

Good one[s], Mak!
Also, Starship's "We Built This City" and The Doobies' "Living On the Faultline".
