Get Human database (to avoid tele answering machines)

Hey, I saw a report on Fox News (USA) about this a few days ago. This is a data base that is supposed to tell people how they can get a real human to talk to, whenever they call a major company and encounter an irritating telephone answering machine.

I haven’t tried any of these yet, but I did learn that when I shouted “human” into the telephone when I called Panasonic, the robot who was talking to me put me through to a real human.

I used to work in a call center. I'm reasonably sure pressing "0" worked on most lines--but never, ever do that for Home Shopping Network. We handled their Visa card applications, and if you pressed "0," the system decided that you really, really wanted a Visa. So we'd get people asking, "Do you have [fill in item here] in blue?"
