Default Is there a Photoshop guru in the house?

I have an image that needs to be tweaked by someone pretty good at doing such things. If you think you can do it or know someone who could or know of a good place to make such a request, please let me know. Thanks.

What kind of tweaking do you need? I have done quite a bit of image-processing, but I am not a pro.

I've done a fair amount of work in PS for my artwork, but I wouldn't call myself a pro either. Could you post some more details about what you need done and possibly a small version of the image that needs manipulated?

Lance is good at that kind of stuff, but I'm not sure the level of expertise needed in this case...

I know enough photoshop to replace pics of my ex with pics of pornstars. Does that help?

I'll post the photo that needs tweaking online with an explanation in the next day or two.

Let me guess, you want the ears reduced on your avatar.

Obviously not or he wouldn't have to post a photo.

What I'm working on is the design for a t-shirt for my tai chi group here in Greenbelt. What I would like is an image as close to this as possible:

http://otal.umd.edu/~vg/images/justice.jpg

except with all the standing figures in the same tai chi posture.

(I'll work on getting a better image than this in the next couple of days - this is too small to be useful.)

If anyone thinks they're up for this, let me know here or via PM. Thanks.

Well, post your image and explanation, then have a contest. Any of us that are so inclined can give it a go and you can pick the one that best suits your needs.

I'll take a crack at it, but I'd need at least one figure in the pose you want. Even if it's a pic of a real person.

Some Google image results for tai chi, tai-chi and tai chi chuan to give you ideas. IŽd suggest taking a picture of a real person [or persons] in a tai chi posture [or using some other image of choice] and then apply some filters [like emboss], and textures [if you want a "stony" look].

I don't want just a stony look, I want it to look like the image, or at least in the same style. (It's part of a frieze on the outside of the Greenbelt Community Center, which is where we have our classes.)

I'll see about getting some good tai chi posture images, as well as getting my wife (with the digital SLR) to take a really good, high-definition photograph of the frieze.

Thanks for everyone's comments and offers to help.

It's been quite a while since I've done any photo manipulation, but I really like the contest idea. I'll give it a crack.

(A chance for me to show off! Here's one I did about a year ago. Rudi Bakhtiar as M.C. Escher.)

I've tasked my wife (the photographer in the house) with getting a good photo of the frieze. I'll also look into getting some good tai chi posture photos.

So what you'd like is something that is recognizably those people, but in different poses.
Does any Tai-Chi style use weapons that look like a shovel?
That was a serious question btw though it could be interpreted differently.

Yes, recognizably the same style as the sculpture on the Community Center.

No, our instructor doesn't let us use weapons (even though some aspects of tai chi do). I've been giving him a hard time for ages about that, but he hasn't bent yet.

I think the best approach would be to sample the stone texture then bit-map it onto the photo of some real people in poses.

The t-shirt guy I deal with tried that, and it wasn't the look I was after at all - I want weird little art deco stylized, sculpted people!
