That's what we get for having controlled the largest empire the world has ever known. Many of the countries we ruled still resent us, and the other major powers are still a little jealous.

It's a mistake you're not in Iran? Don't worry, aside from the Iranians themselves, no one else is in Iran either.

Well, perhaps in practical terms. It was of course still subject to the French king, but the duke of Normandy was sufficiently powerful that he could freely defy his nominal overlord.

Note how many English possessions there are on the continent, though, and you will get an idea of how that situation turned out eventually. . .

Every time I bring up Napoleon I get "Only France would need an Itallian to improve their military." Yeah, go double racial slurs. *sigh*

Now French people are whiners and losers and what else i dont know . Just as Chirac dont lick american boots with all the gusto of Blair and Berlusconi .All this nationalist BS is quite boring. And it is a pity we have it here a supposed astronomical site.
About England if popular press often bash France , many english people like France and even settle here . The fact that real estate is so much cheaper help of course. English have a very good reputation and are generally welcome in the country. Nobody remember them of Waterloo or Trafalgar !

The today striking French is a political stratagem of the supporters of corporatism of Neocon and is not only a-French but a-American. Americans that the scoff the French is sheep ordered the bad right side.

Cleaned up a bit by me. (I don't speak French)

This thread initially discussed the results of a Google Bomb, followed by some tongue-in-cheek comments. I don't think anyone intended to engage in bashing.

The downward spiral into political commentary signals the death knell, though. Please be more careful in the future not to go there.
