I do wonder what an archaeologist would say if he were to find only a single fragmented newspaper from 1999 and could only make out of it that two cold war enemies were discussing global warming.

now that's a thought... "we've reached strata that equates to 2005.. and found this "newspaper". Why on earth would they name it "The Onion"? "

If Congress wants to do something about global warming, they should adjourn early and refrain from campaign speeches until after the first freeze. The resulting reduction in hot air should be good for 2 or 3 degrees at least.
