Considering I am from a South East Coast state, I should have been arrested for being an alien in Roswell when I was there 2 years ago. Considering the landscape, I certainly felt like one.

It's big business in Roswell -- tourism -- bringing in a large portion of their GDP. I doubt it will ever end.

They have a large alien museum and research center in the middle of town. They have their annual Alien Festival which is growing in size and popularity every year. For some merchants, the festival brings in more revenue than the Christmas shopping season (I have read this in local newspaper articles).
