For you...
Rocky Statue Makes Comeback at Museum
...and that's right where it belongs.

As a tremendous lover of the city, I can appreciate what that statue means to them personally.

If only the statue could have been of him in his sweats and hat...I think that would have said so much more about Rocky, his story and Philly.

ps great pics from Iberia

I've seen all of the others so I'll watch this one too. No hurry, though. It'll be on broadcast television soon enough.

I've lived in the Philly burbs all my life, but I've only watched a few parts of Rocky I and II. I may watch this new one, because one of my friends was an extra in the stands at one of the fight scenes. I'm still amazed that after 25 years, I still see tourists (and locals as well) running up the Art Museum steps. I recently ran the Philadelphia Marathon, which finished at the base of the steps. I had planned to run up the steps after I had finished, but when I finished, I was in such bad condition, I wouldn't have been able to even walk up them.

Rocky is killed in the ring and frozen for later revival. In Rocky VII he fights Ted Williams.

I thought that was Rocky XIV?

I think in Rocky VII he fights Ted Knight...

Hey, I was there for the first one, and all the rest (although IV stunk).

I'll be there for this one, too.
