Default The ice man

In one novel I read about ice man, how was he large in height, how big was his palm print on the ice, all stuff was there in the novel, but in reality was there a ice man in the icy zone of the earth ever!!

or that was just a big beer's palm print on the icy surface!. Do you have any idea on the ice man.

May be this heading already taken by the Hollywood movie ever!, because when I read that novel I found that stuff is best suited for the movie story.

That novel I read in the age of 15, now I really don't know the whereabout of that novel and who wrote it, and what was its ISBN number, but novel was so much interesting, even I have forgot the writer of this novel and printed in which press that also I don't know.

In at least one; of 918 references from Google Book Search for "Iceman"...entering any key phrases from the book would narrow it down IF they digitized the book you read.

At first I thought maybe you were talking about the Austro-Italian Ice Man, a stone-age frozen mummy (that's the one Sarongsong links to), but a second reading makes me think you're talking about the canonical Abominable Snow Man (aka yeti) and/or his American cousins, sasquatch (aka bigfoot).

No one's ever come up with hard proof that such critters exist. Most of the hard evidence that's turned up in the Americas has been revealed to be hoaxes (done for whatever reason) or mistakes. There probably is not any such creature.

That said, there are people who live in what others would call frozen wastelands. The general term for those who live near the Arctic circle is Eskimo, although some groups don't like the name and prefer Inuit. These people are very skilled in living in harsh cold conditions, and they are as human and intelligent as you or I. They are no relation to the supposed giant ape-like creatures that lurk in cryptozoology.

yes, nowhereman, that's Yeti. You are correct, and you have very precisely linked by a short gist of the ice man. Novel is immaterial, but ever in reality was it true, that ice man!
