Smile introducing myself

hi folks,

I`m Dietmar, an Austrian hobby Astronomer and I`m new to this forum.
I`m in astronomy for more than half a life (17 years) and since May 2005 I own an observatory of my own.
I`m married, we have 3 kiddies.
I work as a trauma- and handsurgeon in the common hospital of Linz.

I hope to find some friends around here!

all the best to all of You!
regards
Dietmar

ps: here`s my webpage:

Welcome to the forum! Sorry for any delay in this message showing up, but our software is suspicious of new members posting links and holds such posts until a moderator can look at them. (And even yours was showing off your equipment! )

Default thanks for the welcome...

...I appreciate the welcome, Kevin!
You`ve got a cool Avatar - it`s from the Startrek series "the parallel universe" in which Spock is a really brutal guy,..isn`t it? it`s the only time we get Spock to see with a bread in his face.

best regards
Dietmar
