Default Where’d the rock go?

Quote:
As they relax in the modest living room of their home near downtown Noblesville, Jan and Lois Melvin said they have not felt the same for about a week. Something is missing.
A large historic rock, which had rested comfortably near the corner of 10th and Division streets near Seminary Park for more than a century, was removed from the spot sometime late last week and has sparked a firestorm of controversy.
The Melvins, who have lived in the house for almost 10 years, said they had no idea something was amiss until they received a strange visit last weekend.

Nuts... you had my hopes up for a second there. I thought maybe The Rock had disappeared.

My guess: since this thing apparently sat right beside the road, somebody in the highway department hauled it away because it was a hazard.

Google Map: 10th and Division Streets, Noblesville

Can't see it. I think it's under the small tree closest to the center of the image, across the street from the small parking lot with several white cars and one red car.

Microsoft Live Search: 10th and Division Streets, Noblesville

Less foliage. There's the rock, where it used to be. Across the street from the black pickup truck in that parking lot.

I lost a rock, once. I think it fell through a hole in my pocket.

It's missing! No, I think it's there in the Microsoft Live Search, at least about 4 pixels of it. A dark blob (hey!) is in what would be the empty spot next to the street, under the tree, depicted in the newspaper photo. My added yellow arrow is the approximate newspaper photo view. I'll highlight the yellow hydrant in the background, toward the park.
