Is it to much to ask that something get put into the location form where the poster resides.

It sure would make it easier to form groups to maybe ever skype a conversation or two with some one that is local to one another in such attempts.

Speaking of which I am from NH, USA.

From a small hick town, unemployed and still trying to make a difference.

I want space to become a household word to talk about and not to ignore.

To dream the dream of going to space someday for real.

So why do I make this request, to find out if you the visiter to this space forum has any interest in joining me in an effort to create a MarsDrive Branch office in the state of NH. This may once enough join the efforts of volunteering could lead to a real business.

I will send more details of what I have in mind if you think you are interested.

Me , I try not to look at who wrote what and until I started to search out others never even took a glance at that part of the windows view of information.

I guess unusual but still trying to see if there are any takers.

So how would you use the location information? Do a search? On what, for what? Might you not find people who give not a 2-letter state name abbreviation, but write out "New Hampshire" or give their city name, or say region of New England, or latitude and longitude, or prefer to remain silent, or...

And if you find all you can, but some don't accept contact? It's probably better to not try to search them out, but to do like you did and make an announcment and offer to be contacted.

I'd let the location idea go.

I have to agree. I'm not especially secretive about my location, but I'm wary about narrowing it down smaller than the Maritimes. My name isn't so common that a cursory search in the right places wouldn't give away my full contact information. This is not a desirable thing in my mind.
