My guess is that it's a spammer for whatever the link in the sig is who has his is message held pending review then doesn't quite understand why it never shows up in the forums. He's been around for a month or so.

Here's another guess: The !!! logon ID is the "receiving" function whan anyone reports a post to the moderators. This ID can then be accessed by any moderator or the "offending post" notification is sent to all mods.

And the silence of the management about it only emphasizes this notion.

My question was purely rhetorical question... I was just pointing out that it would be difficult to get any kind of consensus as to what constitutes a bad name, or even what kind of settings to put in the software, or even how to fill the loopholes. For instance your rule would still allow a@#%&!

I don't care if it lives or dies. It's not a theory. As I said, it's only a guess. But, I've only seen !!! active. Maybe the other !!!! IDs are used if multiple moderator notifications are submitted at the same time.

If it turns out that they are just BS ids, well so be it. Who really cares? Not me.
