Missed the broadcast due to lack of radio reception at Southern Oregon vacation spot and "impossible" dial-up connection speed.

Well, what can you expect from civilians who insist on retaining military ranks in their names (minus "Ret.") once they're out?

Nice.
I'd like to see who would win in the title battle.

*grins* You do know that a while back the mega-fauna all seemed to vanish. From 3 metre Kangaroos through to mastodons & a variety of other species... All large, all gone, all around the same time.

Mind you I think it was a little longer than 11,500 years back. But not a lot more...

The megafauna's disappearance was found to be coincident with the rise of homo sapiens houdiniensis, which hadn't yet learned the importance of the prestige.

I think we ought to re-designate the sun as a planet. After all, it's orbiting the rest of us as much as we're orbiting it. Just because it's on fire and is so massive it barely moves shouldn't matter...

Some binary systems have one star that's much more massive than the other, so the second sun essentially orbits the largest sun much as Jupiter orbits our own Sun.

Again, just because the second sun, er, planet, is massive enough to sustain fusion...

While we're at it, let's re-designate Pluto as a planet, too, and remove Mercury (no atmosphere). Don't all planets have atmospheres?

Rather, I'd say Mercury is a moon of the planet Sol.

Arbitrary designations...

Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah - to the bathroom (sounds of flushing...)
