Have been curious about your most recent avatar, mike---is that who it appears to be, or just an uncanny resemblance?

It's just an uncanny resemblance. Dick Cheney cannot actually be photographed, just as he cannot be seen in a mirror.

And today's press release on Sen. Craig noted, "Larry has decided to retire so he can spend more time with Curly and Moe. Nyuk-nyuk."

He is guilty of career ending supidity. The man is supposed to be a Senator. One of the men who guide the couse that the most powerful country ever takes. Wether he did something in the bathroom of the airport in Minn is irrelevent. The fact that he pled guilty to a crime, without ever even consulting a lawyer, is what he really did wrong, and what really could end his career.

It is really simple here in the USA. When the cop says you are under arrest, you only say three words. 'Get My Lawyer'

Not being smart enough to do that should disqualify you from holding high office

...Or you can roll the dice and hope no one who cares reads the police blotter; or minor guilty pleas available in the public record.

What is most disconcerting about this is the thought: Who else knew about Larry Craig's curious little hobby; and how much extortion value has the 'anonomous, connect republican' held over a man who is so afraid of public exposure he pleads guilty without telling his lawyer, family or party leadership?

Assume the man the Idaho Statesman has been quoting is a spy; or worse, a lobbyiest. Who sold the family farm?
