Default It's a boy - virtual cigars for everyone!

This morning, after 23 hours of labor, my wife delivered our first child: he's 7 lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long. He's got big paws, just like his old man.

We're very excited, and very tired.

If you get a chance, smoke a cigar and tip back a nice beverage of your choice - on me (virtually, of course!)

Ciao

Let me get that into units I can understand.
So that's 3430 gramm and 53 cm.
Good size.

Congrats to your first one!

Yeah, that was MY reaction.

Thanks for the offer of a virtual cigar; I'll take the bubblegum variety.

Congradulations. My cousin was born on the day Endeavour landed, and I suggested it be his middle name, as I had been intensely praying for the safety of both, but no dice.

Pfft. My daughter took longer.

Congratulations, though. Rest while you can; you won't be getting much any time soon, I'm sure.

After 24 hours I asked my wife if she is pleased with the room.
Otherwise I could use the time and get some paint and give it a different colour.

A hearty and sincere congrats to you and your wife.

If it helps, assure her that after the 1st one labor is typically much easier.

Maybe wait a bit though. For now, just wait on her hand and foot.

Lessee... Mrs. Wolf carries the little one for nine months, goes through 23 hours of labor, and Mr. Wolf wants congratulations?

Seriously, congratulations and all the best to the Family Wolf.
